I just started sending information out to the hotels we are staying in along the way today and I have to say I have been overwhelmed by the positive response I have been getting. I don’t know why really but sometimes you don’t know how people are going to perceive things, even mega challenges like the one Julia is undertaking. But the responses I have received have restored my faith in human nature. Anything we need…of course we’ll support you etc…

This week has also seen us cranking up the activity towards our departure date, including getting all the wet weather gear in duplicate as we have had a heck of a lot of rain this week all over Spain, and its pretty likely we’ll hit rain along the way, especially up North… We aren’t used to rain in Southern Spain and as a result it always comes as a bit of a surprise and always seems to fall in biblical quantities. But yippee, rain is much needed and you never ever complain about the rain in Spain.
